Since 2012, Aquila Capital has invested in the green logistics sector combining environmental and economic efficiency, thereby reducing the impact of its investments on the environment. Aquila Capital has a strong track record in this area, and now has green logistics facilities in Germany, Spain, Portugal and Italy.

Aquila Capital’s logistics investments comprise development projects as well as existing, long-term rented properties. The company’s transactions since 2012 have amounted to more than EUR 739 million and covered a total rentable area of approximately 825,000 m2.

  • Selection criteria including a close proximity to transportation hubs to minimise carbon emissions related to transport, an adherence to sustainable building standards (for example,  BREEAM certified), the installation of rooftop solar photovoltaic panels and the offsetting of CO2 emissions.
